If I could be curious and ask you just to tell the truth
Let all the words fall out your mouth
What was lost now will be found
Hear me when I say Im right
Believe me when I say Im wrong
Honesty the best policy
Except for when it's worse than a lie
So hum with me this melody
And we'll forget all the memories
There's nothing left to scrape away
Im bleeding still from yesterday
So hum with me this melody
And we'll forget all the memories
Theres nothing left to scrape away
Oh baby baby babe baby babe
OOOOHHHHHOOOoooohhhhhooooooo
And I could paranoid
Deny all the things you imply
Oh where oh where will you sleep tonight
accuse you of nothing but lies
And I could be easy going
Plod along through every day
Make believe that Im ok
That all these things will fall into place
If I was not unusual if you were not so beautiful
Then maybe everything will be great and
All these things will fall into place
So hum with me this melody
And we'll forget all the memories
Theres nothing left to scrape away
Im bleeding still from yesterday
So hum with me this melody
and we'll forget all the memories
Theres nothing left to scrape away
Im bleeding still for yesterday
Oh baby baby babe baby babe
Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
Wow wow wow, I was late to the party and only had my first listen yesterday. Junk you have outdone yourself, uplifting and raw so powerful. You really are a genius. Now I'm off to spent the rest of the day, climbing the mountains of west kerry and listening to Jinx on repeat. Add fhear a jinx a chara, an tseoid is luacharama in Éireann ❤️ jinxalert
